The world’s biggest dance event MOVE IT has partnered with Fawkes Digital to produce an original competition format – MOVE IT: The Dance Off, a brand-new three-part dance series that has launched this September on the official MOVE IT YouTube channel.
In this high-energy, YouTube-first competition, world-renowned dance mentors Kumari Suraj and Damien Anyasi search for the next big dance star, fresh from the floors of MOVE IT 2025. Across three episodes, they go head-to-head, each championing untapped talent before pitting their chosen dancers against each other in battle rounds and a grand finale. Six standout talents – Taio Burke, Nalini Finnendal, Gary Clarke, Nola Nyembo, Hashna Siva, and Regan Garcia – will compete for an all-expenses-paid trip to New York, courtesy of Hamilton’s Theatrical, including top-tier studio training, a professional photoshoot, Broadway tickets, and more unforgettable experiences.
Episode 1 – The Hunt Is On for a Dance Superstar (launched September 5, 2025)
The stage is set at MOVE IT 2025 as two powerhouse dance mentors face off in an epic talent search. With just one action-packed day, they must each scout and mentor three incredible acts—fuelling the rivalry and igniting the fierce battles to come in the next round.
Episode 2 – Let The Battles Commence (launching September 12, 2025)
The six chosen acts face off in three dynamic dance battles, with each pair showcasing their best moves in head-to-head competition. Only three acts — one from each battle — will advance to the grand finale showdown.
Episode 3 – The Grand Finale (launching September 19, 2025)
The three finalists hit the live stage at MOVE IT 2025 for their ultimate performance, with the crowd’s cheers deciding who takes the crown. The prize? An all-expenses-paid trip to New York, courtesy of Hamilton’s Theatrical, including top-tier studio training, a professional photoshoot, Broadway tickets, and more unforgettable experiences. Who will you crown the winner?
