Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has announced the full cast of dancers for A Life in Four Seasons. Vivaldi’s masterpiece is reimagined in an electric new contemporary dance work directed by Tinuke Craig, with choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento and a recorded musical score by composer DJ Walde.
Running Thursday 11 June to Sunday 14 June 2026, the production follows three friends as they spring across a vibrant city, navigating the shifting seasons of life. As summer speeds towards them they grasp the metropolis and push, push, push through to autumn. What will be discovered and what will life bring as they reach the depths of winter?
The cast of dancers is Tanesha Aba, Kazmin Borrer, Robia Brown, Emi Ichikawa, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, Jacqui Jameson, Susan Kempster, Louis Mackrodt, Christie Lee Manning, Michael Naylor, Laura Dawn Pyatt, Mark Smith, Nadia Sohawon, Beryl Tay, Mami Tomotani and Ethan Vijn.
Additional creatives include casting coordinator Will Burry, casting director Will Burton, lighting designer Zeynep Kepekli, set and costume designer Ryan Dawson Laight, associate wigs, hair and make-up designer and supervisor Georgia Nosal, sound designer Max Pappenheim, and associate director and choreographer Samuel Wilson-Freeman.
Tinuke Craig said: “I’m so thrilled to be working on this new and exciting piece of dance with such an accomplished team of artists. It’s a real honour to work with this company who are bringing such a wealth of experience, such a breadth of styles and approaches and such a generosity of spirit to this project, which aims to examine who we are, what we can change and what we can’t, and how we can grow to love ourselves and each other over the course of a life.”
Choreographer Alexzandra Sarmiento added: “The audiences of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre have delighted in experiencing storytelling through an incredible canon of plays, musicals, operas, and other fantastic forms of performance. I’m so pleased that dance is being added to that canon and I can’t wait to share with you what we are cooking up with our incredible company of dancers.”
Composer DJ Walde said: “It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with the amazing Tinuke Craig. I’m looking forward to working alongside and creating with this amazing bunch of creatives and these wonderful dancers.”
