The Can You Dance? Super Convention returns to Liverpool, UK, this October and it’s bigger, bolder, and more global than ever before.
Fast becoming an international destination for all things dance, the CYD? Super Convention has dancers and studios making the journey from Australia, Dubai, America, and across Europe.
This year’s convention promises to be the most ambitious yet, featuring a record-breaking 250 masterclasses led by an exceptional international faculty of renowned choreographers and industry professionals.
More than 18,000 attendees are expected to gather for an immersive experience that spans a broad spectrum of disciplines – from Contemporary, Jazz Technique, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, to Singing and Acting. The event offers opportunities for dancers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned performers.
In addition to its educational offerings, the CYD? Super Convention will also serve as a launchpad for emerging talent. Top performing arts colleges will be in attendance, actively scouting for promising dancers, with a wide array of scholarships, awards, and prizes available throughout the weekend.
“We’re incredibly proud of how the Super Convention has grown into a global destination for dance,” said Tom Shilcock and Matt Flint, founders of Can You Dance?. “This year’s event will be our biggest yet – a place where dancers can train, perform, be inspired, and connect with the industry on a whole new level.”
Mark your calendars for October 11th and 12th as Can You Dance? Returns to Liverpool, United Kingdom at The ECL & ACC.
