Next month in London, the UK capital of culture, creativity and dance, Red Bull will host the one-on-one freestyle dance battle national final at Central Hall Westminster on Saturday 30th May.

Hosted by Priscilla Anyabu and Dwayne Nosworthy, the Red Bull Dance Your Style UK Final will showcase the best performers from up and down the country, with dancers facing off to unpredictable tracks spanning genres and eras.

There are no judges – the crowd votes for who wins. Every round will test adaptability, creativity, and presence. The best dancer chosen by the audience on the night will be selected to represent the United Kingdom at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Zurich on October 24, 2026.

For aspiring dancers seeking a place in the final, there are still three remaining qualifiers taking place in Glasgow, Birmingham and London – register now to be a part of the competition. The final London qualifiers will take place on Friday 29th May at 19:00pm at Red Bull London, The Arches.

Say Now Half-Time Performance

For those lucky enough to attend the one-day event, celebrating the diversity and individuality of street dance culture, there will be an exclusive half time performance from RnB group Say Now. The London-based trio – Ysabelle Angeli, Maddie Haynes and Amelia Onuorah – known as ‘Say Now’ since 2023, rose to fame posting songs and dance challenges on TikTok, and are now riding high off the back of their recent hit singles “Millions” and “Supermarket.”

For a unique opportunity to live out your popstar dreams, there is a competition to become the fourth member of Say Now for one night only, performing with them on stage at the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final UK half-time show on Saturday 30th May – to be in with a chance of joining the group, find more information about the Red Bull Dance Club competition with Say Now here!

Wildcard Entries

James Airey, the 19-year-old from Chesterfield who suffered a partially collapsed lung in 2025, defied expectations with a rapid recovery, returning to competition within weeks and securing major battle wins. Performing under the name ‘Slayer’, he brings not only technical excellence but a powerful story of perseverance, using his platform to advocate for mental health awareness and resilience among young people.

UK Wildcard James Airey ‘Slayer’ said, “Last year, both of my lungs partially collapsed, and I had surgery to stabilise them. Essentially, it’s because I’m skinny and really tall – 6’4”; with that body type, you have a much higher chance of getting a spontaneous pneumothorax. It was crazy painful. Now I can never scuba dive or be a pilot, but thankfully the doctors didn’t mention dancing. Bring on this year’s Red Bull Dance Your Style final!”

Slayer is joined by Shameer Rayes – an emerging self-taught freestyle artist born and raised in Manchester, former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist and apprentice for dance theatre studio Company Chameleon. Shameer has also had the honour of working with music artists such as FKA twigs and Pip Millett.

Other wildcards include Elsa Roy Gupta – the London-based Indian movement artist, choreographer, and cultural curator known as ‘Elsa’ whose work centers around embodiment, cultural memory and truth-telling through movement – Lucy Adams – a Litefeet dancer known as ‘Swoosh Lyte’ based in Manchester – and Alessandra – an up-and-coming talent in the UK freestyle battle scene known as ‘Swaggy Sandra’ nodding to her smooth transitions and style.
