From Young Stars to Global Icons, Brighton Dome Delivers an Explosive Spring Dance Programme

Brighton Dome’s Spring 2026 season bursts with world-class dance, from groundbreaking international touring companies to exciting home-grown talent, all across its iconic Concert Hall and beautifully restored Corn Exchange.

The season opens with Performers of the Future on Sunday 18 January at 7pm in the Corn Exchange. Returning for its second year, this uplifting showcase spotlights the South of England’s most promising young dancers from Project Female and leading dance schools, celebrating their creativity, skill and diverse styles in a vibrant display of the stars of tomorrow.

On Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 February at 7.30pm in the Concert Hall, the Olivier Award-nominated MÁM from Teaċ Daṁsa makes its highly anticipated Brighton debut. Twelve fearless dancers conjure ninety minutes of pure ritualised ecstasy, powered live by concertina virtuoso Cormac Begley and the daring contemporary ensemble s t a r g a z e, taking audiences on a mesmerising journey into Irish myth, magic and landscape.

Families and fans won’t want to miss The Next Step: Legacy World Tour on Sunday 15 February at 6.30pm in the Concert Hall. This brand-new high-energy live dance show celebrates ten seasons of the global hit TV series, reuniting favourite cast members from past and present for spectacular choreography, heartfelt stories and all the camaraderie that made The Next Step a worldwide sensation.

March brings a powerful debut when award-winning choreographer and former Rambert star Liam Francis presents his company’s Alchemy on Wednesday 4 March at 7.30pm in the Corn Exchange. This deeply personal double bill explores identity, community and transformation: Lyre Liar is an intimate solo reflecting on shifting identities with excerpt pieces from Merce Cunningham, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Kate Prince, while A Body of Rumours is an exhilarating quartet celebrating Black brotherhood, rhythm and live electronic music, tracing a joyful journey from isolation to harmony.

The world-famous Breakin’ Convention festival of hip hop dance theatre explodes onto the Concert Hall stage on Wednesday 27 May with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Expect international trailblazers Femme Fatale, the extraordinary ILL-Abilities crew of differently-abled breakers, and the very best local Brighton talent in a high-energy, boundary-breaking celebration.

The season closes with a spectacular finale when Burn the Floor presents Nikita Kuzmin: Supernova on Sunday 28 June at 7.30pm in the Concert Hall. Strictly Come Dancing favourite Nikita Kuzmin lights up the stage in this explosive new dance show, created with legendary choreographer Jason Gilkison and fusing world-class performers, cutting-edge choreography and Nikita’s irresistible charisma for an electrifying night of pure dance firepower.
