The 2024 Dance Business Conference is happening this 7 -8 August, at Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport, and the two-day event is sure to inspire dance school owners and guide them to a growing, successful business.

This conference feature seminars, workshops and networking opportunities, and helped over 100 dance school owners elevate their school to the next level last year. This year’s event will be even bigger, with more expert advice, tons of exhibitors and plenty of fun. It’s a valuable opportunity to engage, learn and map out strategies for achieving your business goals.

The Dance Business Conference is geared to dance studio owners who want to increase student numbers, retention rates and earn more money, and to business owners who are looking for support and guidance from a community of like-minded individuals.

“The number one reason dance school owners would benefit is because this event brings dance school owners together to make friends, feel part of a caring and sharing community, and creates a safe space to learn and grow as a dance school business owner,” says Deborah Laws, the “Dance Business Expert” and owner of Dance Business Lab. “Plus, it’s heaps of fun, and as one attendee said, ‘This event has changed my life!’”

Participants will take part in seminars and workshops full of information that is practical and can be implemented right away. They will learn fresh ideas on how to increase retention and build revenue. There will also be opportunities to network, collaborate and hear new ideas. Exciting guest speakers will also be announced soon.

Something new for the 2024 conference will be ‘The Afterglow’: Inspiration To Implementation Day With Deborah Laws. Laws will work with studio owners on reflecting on all the insights shared over the two-day conference, and will help formulate a personalised action plan tailored to their specific needs.

“I am most looking forward to seeing the lightbulbs go off and the excitement and motivation that people leave this event with ready to take on the world!” Laws says.

The Dance Business Conference will offer tickets of two types. A Premium Ticket will include access for two days at the conference, as well as lunch, teas and coffees. A VIP Ticket will include access to the two-day event (lunch, teas and coffees provided), a ticket to Dinner Dance, full recordings of all business seminars, a private meet and greet prior to the conference, and VIP seating on both days.
